These Parisian vintage postcard friends are fishing for compliments.

The river Seine used to be swarming with 'goujon' These plump, sweet flavoured fish were French fried and then eaten whole. These minnow sized morsels saved many a starving family!

Marie, I still see people fishing along the Seine and wonder if the fishing is any better there is any better than along the Chicago River. I love these vintage Paris post cards.

Fishing is great for the mind, body and spirit! It saves a starving family on Weeks Bay quite regularly!
