vintage postcards
I am in cheesemonger heaven. We spent the day at a goat farm! The boys milked the very content dams and sipped on warm milk. I bought a few (well..10 :) very creamy young Crottin de Chavignol. This paticular handmade cheese is light and tangy. Divine dairy!

Goat cheese is my ABSOLUTE favorite, and I love 'crottins,' especially since I know what it means. They have goat cheese here, but it isn't the same (just one kind, sniff).
I'm with you. I've gone to Chavignol, .... and its specialised restaurants with cheese dishes. Once again the simplest, the best. With just a salad.
I like the goatcheese. The baby goat is very cute.
I saw potato fieds in Idaho. I like Wedges potatoes.
I love all kinds of cheese--even goat! The woman in the postcard really looks like my grandma Rafeala in Mexico. :)

Did you have a good Easter, Marie?
I hope so!
My favourite cheeses are the fontina and the Caprice des Dieux.
Oh my goodness - that photo is adorable! And I'm a goat cheese lover too - on pizza it is so delicious.
Cute photos and I love goat cheese too. Any cheese like that crumbled up on a salad, yummy.

Well we all love goat cheese in our family. Can't wait to taste some of that in France. The baby goat is way too cute.

Holy Cow that's cute ... and it doesn't get my goat. [lol]
I used to hate any goats' cheese, but I've come to love it. My favourite is Valençay at the moment. When my son was swimming competitively, there was a very large meet at Bourges. The winners all got a medal, a badge, half a dozen other things, plus a "crottin de M. xxx". It struck me as so bizarre I had to choke back my giggles each time the announcements were made.
What a blast! Oh, and that goat is so sweet and adorable. I love goat cheese. :)
that sounds like a WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!!!!!
Look at that goat- !!!!!
Oh I am SO jealous, that sounds like such fun! I lurve me some goat cheese too! You bought 10, good for you, we've got to keep the dairy farmers of France employed right!? ha ha
