This fluttering vintage postcard girl moves me to listen to the Butterfly Lovers violin concerto.
This modern music piece, composed in 1958, is a symbolic retelling of a Chinese legend. The tragic story is very Romeo and Julietesque.
The legend involves the star - crossed lovers, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, who turn into butterflies after death. It is a beloved classic of Chinese music. It is also very youtubeable. This orchestra masterpiece is calming and surprisingly familiar.

Not that my French is that good, but it's the kind of music I would like to have on my radio driving to work.
Thanks for stopping by New Orleans Daily photo and your kind comments
Marie, very cute postcard. Butterflys have become all the rage here. We have a nature museum in the city, near the Lincoln Park Zoo, that has a butterfly greenhouse where butterflys are raised and released. Visitors can stroll through the greenhouse - it's quite a treat. Here's what they have to say:
"A 2,700 square-foot greenhouse filled with butterflies, including those never-before-seen in our region: Blue Morphos and Banded Tigers from Central and South America; Rice Paper Butterflies, the Great Egg Fly, Blue Rims, and Chocolate Pansies from Asia; and 11 species of African butterflies, including Citrus and White Lady Swallowtails."
